Meet One Of The Faces Behind Lizotte Inspection Services

I’m Gary Lizotte, proud co-owner of Lizotte Inspection Services, along with my wife, Glenda Lizotte.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

After spending almost thirty years in the construction business, I decided to use my knowledge to help others by assisting them in making educated decisions on a home purchase. While I was in construction, I handled all aspects of building houses from top to bottom. I have also built three houses myself and continue to do take up home renovations on the side.

Glenda and I have been inspecting houses for seven years now, and we have gotten more technical in this time. Earlier, we used to submit a handwritten report, but now we provide a digital report, and this has increased the speed with which we get the report out to the clients. Glenda joined the team once I got busy enough for her to join me full time.

At Lizotte Inspection Services, I inspect each house as if I am buying it for myself. I keep my reports easy to read and try to educate the client on how to repair and care for their new home. I pride myself on being honest with my clients because I have to lay my head down at the end of the day knowing that I did the best I could for my client that day.

I thoroughly enjoy what I do and no two days are ever the same. Each day brings different homes and different people with different needs and questions. Having a client smile at me, shake my hand and thank me for the time I spent to help them gives me immense satisfaction.

Although we’ve been in the industry for seven years, our success is down to word of mouth referrals.  Realtors who genuinely work for their clients and want them to have a thorough inspection, suggest our name. Past clients have also highly recommended us to their friends and family, which is hugely gratifying.

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time in my workshop making things from scratch, like my wood stove I made from a water heater and a solar panel from pop cans. I also enjoy fishing and riding my dune buggy.
